I am a Fireifghter/Paramedic by trade and have spent most of my adult life in the public safety field. I started in EMS
in 1984 and the fire service in 1986. I am currently employed in Longmeadow, MA.
My hobbies, other than railfaning, include riding my Harley, playing paintball on the team that I helped to found, the
Maltese Militia, and camping. Sometimes I am even able to combine some of these things and make a trip even more exciting.

My Great Uncle, Richard, was a engineer on Long Island for a steel company back in the 50's and 60's. He
told many a great story and I think that is where my love of trains started. Being born in Laramie, WY didn't hurt either.
